Simple USB 3.0 Powered 3G-SDI Capture
The U-TAP 3G-SDI USB 3.0 (USB 3.2, Gen 1) capture devices brings professional connectivity and high quality video capture to your laptop or workstation. U-TAP SDI is bus powered with the ability to simply and easily bring in video across 3G-SDI for use within a wide range of software without any drivers to install, as it’s supported directly in macOS 11®, Windows® and Linux®.
AJA U-TAP SDI Video and Audio Capture Devices provide video users of all types with an, extremely compact device that converts an 3G-SDI video stream to USB. U-TAP SDI accepts up to 1920×1080 SDI inputs ranging from 23.98 fps up to 60 fps. The input signal is automatically scaled (if necessary) to the output size determined by the host application.
The U-TAP device interface is USB 3.0 (USB 3.2, Gen 1) “SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps” providing enough bandwidth for full broadcast-quality video and audio, available if the host environment can support that bandwidth. U-TAP is powered via the USB 3.0 connection with no need for an additional power supply, minimizing cabling and maximizing portability.
