PODCAST PRODUCTION STUDIO
The RØDECaster Pro™ is designed to simplify podcast production whilst delivering superb audio quality. It supports up to four presenters, as well as offering easy connection to phone, USB and Bluetooth™ sources. Eight programmable pads offer instant playback of sound effects and jingles. Podcasts can be recorded directly to microSD™ card, or to a computer via USB. Ease of use is assured, with intuitive controls and large full-colour touchscreen.
The RØDECaster Pro has four XLR channels for plugging in four microphones. You can use any microphone with the RØDECaster Pro, as long as it can be connected to an XLR input (note: USB microphones like the NT-USB Mini cannot be used with the RØDECaster Pro). Also the RØDECaster Pro offers flexible options for audio playback. With high-quality headphone and monitor outputs, anyone connected to the RØDECaster Pro is ensured crystal-clear audio.
Connecting Callers and Online Guests
With dedicated channels for smartphone, Bluetooth® and USB connections, integrating phone calls and guests via communications apps is incredibly easy on the RØDECaster Pro. Connecting callers and online guests is just as easy as connecting physical guests. Dedicated USB, smartphone and Bluetooth channels allow for both phone calls and online guests to be integrated into a podcast with crystal-clear audio. Each of these channels even has their own mix-minus* feed to ensure no echo is heard by any of the remote callers.
These channels can be recorded seamlessly alongside the four microphone channels. With this kind of flexibility, you could simultaneously connect a phone call on the smartphone channel, a Skype caller on the Bluetooth channel and a Zoom meeting on the USB channel with yourself and three other podcasters in the room.
Craft Your Sound
The RØDECaster Pro features eight programmable sound effects pads for instant triggering of sound effects, music, intro and outros, or ads rolls. You can record direct to a pad from any of the RØDECaster Pro’s inputs or simply assign audio from your computer. Each pad is highly customisable, with options for playback mode, colour-coding, and more, and you can store up to eight banks of sounds – 64 in total!
