Kino Flo Barfly 200
Compact television & feature film production light
Kino Flo Barfly 200 packs a lot of soft light into its blade-thin body design. The brighter, smaller, lighter BarFly delivers more lumens per square inch than any other full-spectrum fluorescent source on the market. The BarFly is a compact and controllable lighting source that can squeeze into tight spots for difficult shots on location or in the studio.
The BarFly 200 kit consists of three components: BarFly Fixture w/ 12ft (3.6m) head extension (fig. 1), Mounting Plate (fig. 2) and Ballast (fig. 3). It was designed in this manner to allow the greatest flexibility when working on film production where the gaffer and DP are constantly being challenged to light unique locations and problem solve at a moment’s notice. Being most at home on location and studio sets for television and feature film production, but many in the electronic field production and ENG community have discovered it for a small, two point or three point lighting kit.
